Collaboration Process

1. Inquire
After receiving the required information by standard mail or email (deal@dumontventure.de) an investment professional will carry out a preliminary examination of your application. As a rule, a response can be expected from us within 1 to 2 weeks of being received.
We treat all documents and information provided with the utmost care and confidentiality.
2. Assessment
After reviewing the submitted information, and a preliminary management presentation, due diligence is performed. DuMont Venture's investment criteria is used as a basis for this assessment.
3. Due Diligence
We want to get to know your products, customers, competitors, and your management team well, and for that we need a sufficient amount of time. After the completion of the due diligence phase, and careful analysis of the results, the DuMont Venture team decides whether it will begin a partnership with your company.  
4. Contract
From that point on, contracts become the responsibility of the DuMont Schauberg legal department or their external partners.
5. Investment
The process, from the initial inquiry until closing, usually takes between 2 and 4 months. The payment of agreed capital is broken up and paid in relation to the defined milestones achieved. 
6. Ongoing Services
We have the same interest in the success of your company as you do. That's why we bring our contacts and expertise to help our partners look for competent staff, service providers, and marketing and follow-up financing. Exchanging monthly reports helps provide transparency into important developments and successes.
7. Exit
Together with management, the ideal time for DuMont Venture to sell its interest in your organization is discussed. In a normal case, the duration is between 2 and 6 years.
