About the enterprise-group M. DuMount Schauberg

M. DuMont Schauberg (MDS) associated companies include the subscription newspapers: Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Kölnische Rundschau, and EXPRESS. In addition to this, MDS publishes the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung in Halle/Saale. In July 2006, MDS acquired 50 percent of the shares and control of the Frankfurt / Main GmbH (Frankfurt Rundschau) publishing house. Also in 2006, MDS announced 25 percent participation in the Israeli Ha'aretz-Group , Tel Aviv. The total circulation of MDS daily newspapers is over a million.  

As one of the five largest publishing houses in Germany, MDS has investments in numerous advertising and radio broadcasting firms.
On the national level, MDS has investments in The German Federal Gazette, the DuMont Book Publishing House, and the DuMont Calendar Publishing House. The DuMont Travel Publising House was acquired by the „Mairs Geographic Publishing House" in 2004 and now trades under MAIRDUMOUNT.
